Bison and Sage is a Métis cultural experiences business in Saskatchewan, Canada. Our experiences are held at the Goodwin House, Saskatchewan Landing Provincial Park. What we collect through the contact form
If you use the contact form on our Contact page, we collect your first name, last name, email address and phone number. You can also choose a topic (booking a scheduled experience, private group booking, workshop inquiry or general question) and add details. The topic and details are optional.
The form sends your message to us by email so we can reply. The website itself does not store form submissions.
Email links on the site open your own email program.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to check that the sender is not a bot. Turnstile may process technical information about your browser and device for that check.
Hosting
Our site is hosted on Cloudflare. Cloudflare processes standard technical data, such as your IP address and browser information, to deliver and protect the site.
Bookings
Bookings are made through an online booking calendar provided by a third-party booking platform. It opens in a popup on our site. There you give your name, contact details and booking details. We use them to manage your booking and send confirmations and reminders.
Payment is taken in person at the experience. No payment is collected through this website.
Cookies and tracking
Our pages use no analytics, no advertising or tracking cookies, and no tracking pixels. The booking calendar is run by its provider, and the provider’s own cookies may apply when you open it.
Our site links to the Bison and Sage Facebook page. Facebook’s own privacy policy applies there.
How we use your information
We use personal information only to respond to enquiries and run bookings. That means replying to your message, managing your booking and sending confirmations and reminders. We do not sell personal information. The service providers described above process some information so that the site and booking calendar work.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete the information we hold about you by emailing [email protected]. You can use the same address for any other privacy questions.
